…Or new makeup, these things bring a new sense of freedom. And we don’t want to put a price on freedom, right? So, a haircut is often worth spending a bit more money on. Please make an effort and find someone good to cut your precious hair, and that person may not always be available around your surroundings.

Stay away from the factory like places, where every client is given a 15-minute service and the stylist ends up making an assembly line of the same hair looks, without any regards of your particular needs, face shape or hair texture. Even if you found a good hair stylist there, he or she won’t probably be there for the next one, because they are turned around between hair salons of the franchise.

Here is where you really need to open up your purse or consider saving for. This accessory will go with you every hour, of every day, of your whole existence! As soon as you get a haircut that really love, go to your local hair dresser and show them your head, let them see the cut as it’s meant to be, rather than waiting until it is all grown out and then making the clueless stylist try to recreate something he’s never seen before.

Change colors if you wish, more and more women are using hair color as an accessory, like nail polish! Some of them actually change it that often, although I’m not a fan of dying your hair that frequently, for obvious reasons: hair damage or high maintenance. But you can always have fun experimenting, just jump ahead and try something new.

When I see a beautiful haircut or someone with a really gorgeous hair color, I turn around to get another look. Sometimes I even go up to compliment and find out who did that wonder!
